Berkshire Hathaway, in Greg Abel’s first quarter as CEO, sold its entire stakes in Amazon, Visa and Mastercard while materially increasing its holdings in Alphabet, according to the firm’s 13F filing. Berkshire opened new positions in Delta Air Lines (~$2.65B) and Macy’s (~$55M), and created a C‑class stake in Alphabet (3.59M shares, ~$1.03B) while boosting A‑class shares from 17.8M to 54.2M. Berkshire paused further reductions of its Apple holding after three quarters of trimming; Apple, American Express, Bank of America, Coca‑Cola and Chevron remain its top US equity positions. The moves follow large net sales in Q1 (about $24B sold, $16B bought) and mark a reallocation under Abel’s stewardship.
