Introducing mine, a Coalton and Common Lisp IDE
mine: A complete, no-frills IDE for Coalton and Common Lisp
mine is a newly released single-download IDE for Coalton and Common Lisp designed to lower the entry barrier to Lisp development by providing an out-of-the-box interactive workflow with hot-reloading, REPL integration, and on-the-fly debugging. It bundles features expected of a professional IDE—inline diagnostics, integrated debugger and backtraces, jump-to-definition, package-aware autocomplete, real-time argument/type display, syntax highlighting, structural editing, project setup, Quicklisp integration, and native code compilation—while remaining intentionally conservative: one fixed UI, limited customization, no plugins, no telemetry, and no editor emulations. The goal is to make Lisp accessible to beginners who find Emacs+SLIME and package tooling daunting, and to serve as a practical alternative or teaching tool for experienced Lisp programmers.
